I heard a song on the radio yesterday that is perfect for Brian and Justin and I wanted to share it with you all. Except now I can't remember the name. It's an older song, from the late 70s, early 80s and sounds like Boston/Foreigner/Journey (REO SPeedwagon, Chicago, Air Supply, etc. I've even looked up various love song compilations and still can't find it. Woe). It's about a man leaving his lover on a train to try for success but he gets his courage and strength from his lover. He also wants to be a success for his lover. They are still in love and I don't think the separation will permanent. Totally post-513 Brian and Justin, right? It would be great inspiration for graphics, if only I could remember the name!! It's a song you've probably heard and know the lyrics to. I sang along while the song was on the radio, but since coming home, I haven't been able to remember a long-enough phrase to Google successfully (apparently "I love you" and "leaving on a train" are too common, lol). Does this sounds familiar to anyone?
I found it, I found it, I found it! Perseverance rocks!
Babe, I'm leaving, I must be on my way The time is drawing near My train is going, I see it in your eyes The love, the need, your tears
But I'll be lonely without you And I'll need your love to see me through Please believe me, my heart is in your hands 'Cause I'll be missing you
'Cause you know it's you babe Whenever I get weary and I've had enough I feel like giving up You know it's you babe Giving me the courage and the strength I need Please believe that it's true, babe, I love you
You know it's you babe Whenever I get weary and I've had enough I feel like giving up You know it's you babe Giving me the courage and the strength I need Please believe that it's true, babe, I love you
Babe, I'm leaving, I'll say it once again Somehow try to smile 'Cause I know the feelings we're trying to forget If only for a while
'Cause I'll be lonely without you And I'll need your love to see me through Please believe me, my heart is in your hands 'Cause I'll be missing you
Babe, I love you Babe, I love you Ooh, babe |
