A fic rec: If you Needed Me by Myrna, told in four parts. It starts after S2 before Ethan cheats, but is a total BJ story where Justin gets sick. I got this from retread, so some of y'all may have read it before. It made me laugh a ton and cry a little and is just a wonderful must-read.

A B/J fic rec: Cross-Reference. It's long and angsty and so freaking cathartic, I love it. It starts about mid-season 2, with Brian and Justin breaking up for a reason* that isn't Ethan.
* I don't want to tell you the reason, because had I known, I wouldn't have read the story. But it really makes the story better and yet is such a minor point at the same time. The reason is revealed in the first chapter, so it isn't a big reading commitment and then 1000 chapters in you suddenly find out "WTFBBQ, Justin is Brian's son" or anything weird.
I've never read a fic like this before. I usually do post-513 stuff. This was excellent and I just had to share. |

All summer I've been [uselessly] pimping the post-513 fic A Love That Will Never Grow Old from bjfic.net. It's an old fic, but I've surprisingly come across some people who haven't read it yet. It is like watching the show: full of laughter, angst, sex, squee-worthy moments, and others that made my cry like a baby. There is also a sequel, yay.
Today, I found the story on lj! Let's celebrate!! I was sure I tried there before, but, erm, maybe not?
